Penumbra exists in the space between the shadows and the strobe light. It is a night dedicated to the mechanical pulse and synthetic atmospheres that drive the alternative dancefloor. Expect to hear anything from Post Punk, EBM and Dark Wave to Italo Disco, Synthpop and Electroclash.

MuteJupiter is a Chicago-based DJ whose sets are characterized by an eclectic blend of deep cuts and underground gems spanning from the 1970s to the present day. Evading rigid categorization, MuteJupiter crafts dancefloor experiences built on moody atmospheres, driving analog rhythms, and a deep appreciation for the darker, alternative fringes of electronic music.
